Founded in 1967, Original Magoo’s Pizza has become Hawaii’s beloved local favorite for island-style pizza, chicken, subs, and salads. Our secret sauce — a perfect blend of specialty tomatoes and 13 herbs and spices — pairs with a melty four-cheese blend on our classic vegan cracker crust. One bite and you’ll understand why generations of Hawaii families keep coming back — it’s broke da mouth!
Our Journey
In 1967, our father, Gilbert Sakaguchi, borrowed $905 from our grandfather Jackson M. Sakaguchi and founded Magoo’s Pizza in Honolulu, Hawaii with its first location at 1980 Kalakaua Avenue in Waikiki. Over the next four decades, you could find Hawaii’s favorite island-style pizza in over 27 locations throughout Hawaii, the West Coast, Philippines and even Dubai!
